This is Mr. Stiriling, the official
plant waterer in Carson City (MB)
He has a golfcart modified to carry a water
tank. He can ride on the sidewalks and
water the baskets every morning, He does a
good job because the baskets are all beautiful.

Day 351
At Roaring Camp Big Trees Park in Felton (MB)
I confess, this was taken last Saturday while we were on a
"mystery" photography trip. You're given a list of 20 categories
and must only use 24 images (digital image sequence
numbers are counted) to get all 20. It's ok to take another
camera or image card and take other photos. That's what
this one is. It didn't fit into any of the categories and
I thought it would be fun for the blog.

Day 349
Ok, so another chore...the freezer got defrosted early this am (MB)
Everything goes into ice chests with icepacks. Old,
clean towels on each shelf to catch melting frost.
Keep the door open and power off. Hour or two
later and it's ready to wipe down, turn back on,
refill with still frozen food, put chests away.
No hairdryers were used in this process -

Yipee! The solar clothes dryer is working again! (MB)
Yah, Yah, I'd rather be gardening but there are chores to do!
Works great for heavy rugs. Moisture into the air,
pennies in my piggy bank.

Day 343
This is George the Curious Squirrel! (MB)
Picture this...man sitting on bench, squirrel walks
up to him, probably looking for tasty treat. Man gets
his little digital camera, tries to get a low down shot
of squirrel. Squirrel keeps trying to get to the camera
and man can't get the photo because the squirrel is
too close. This went on for a few minutes and the
photo never happened. Funny!

Successful transplant...it's starting to bloom. (MB)
This little Heuchera was in a crowded and hot spot.
Moved it and all it's little off-shoots to some much
needed shade. Thank goodness for the cool
spring to give it time to regroup and restart!

internet & email...my co-judges are around the USA and
our leader is in Guatemala on vacation! What a hoot!
