They're to be given away as gifts to the Christmas Day guests at St. Anthony's Dining Room. http://www.stanthonysf.org/?q=donate/knit 15 done in photo, hope to complete 5 more before the deadline!Wish me luck!
My favorite frame store has a holiday window display (MB) There is a tree covered with what looks like black spangles in the center of the frame. Couldn't see it very well but it's probably a neat recycle idea. Must go back for a closer look.
Whooeee! A new hand dryer design - Dyson Airblade (MB) Or so I thought. Showed the pic to another blogger and got the news that they were already installed in Guatamala City two years ago. Wow, I'm way behind!
Happy 138th Birthday Pigeon Point Light House (MB) Read about it: http://sanmateocoastnha.org/pages/pigeonpt.html http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=533 Once a year in November the light is turned on and the rotation is stopped for 15 minutes. Many photographers show up to capture the rays of light around the lighthouse. For a good display of rays, there needs to be a layer of fog. It was actually more fun to see all of the camera gear that was paraded out. It's a wonder the weight of the gear didn't sink us into the Pacific! Just realized that the 138th Birthday pic is posted on our 138 Photo Blog Day
A hawk came to visit (MB) He was kind enough to show his front and back so there's a decent look at his markings. Best guess from looking at my bird book is that it's a Cooper's Hawk. Didn't have time for tripod so pix aren't very sharp. No small birds or rodents were harmed during this visit.
