Saw this at Davies Symphony Hall. White front is cornhusk layers
the scaley tail is all dried red peppers. Very inventive but led me
to wonder how many pots of chili or posole they would season.

Persimmon Fall Color and a persimmon still ripening. (MB)
There is an old persimmon orchard on the way to the Sunol Water Temple.
No one takes care of it any longer - have a feeling that the owner has passed away.
It's a shame and a waste. With some care and fertilizer, Open Heart Kitchen
or one of the food banks could use the fruit.

M-m-m-m-m I have an idea! (MB)
So, this Napa car parks across the street fairly close to where
the Geico Gecko car parks. Wouldn't it be funny to see a
Gecko peeking out from under the Napa hat and a Gecko
on top the the Geico car with a Napa hat on it? Wouldn't
it be even funnier to have an employee part-timing
at both places with a multitasking auto? Maybe I
just need to keep my mind busy elsewhere.
