Persimmon Fall Color and a persimmon still ripening. (MB)
There is an old persimmon orchard on the way to the Sunol Water Temple.
No one takes care of it any longer - have a feeling that the owner has passed away.
It's a shame and a waste. With some care and fertilizer, Open Heart Kitchen
or one of the food banks could use the fruit.
