Garage Prepped for Roof removal (MB)
So, when the old roof was put on, there was no 1st layer of plywood put down. The old roof
is coming down & it means that all of the junk will fall into the garage. YUK! To keep the
debris field manageable, 1 ml plastic was stapled above the shelving/storage areas like roller blinds.
The plastic will be unrolled before the removal begins, shielding everything stored on shelving.
It is long enough to cover most of the shelving. It's the floor plastic that I use when painting walls.
There are items down on floor but old sheets & towels will protect them. Afterward, cleanup should
be a lot easier than if everything is left uncovered. Hopefully this system will work! This roof has a
50 year lifetime. It better outlast me, I'm too old to do this monkey climbing on the shelves again.
Had to wedge my body between the overhead rails of the garage door rails and the shelves to do
the stapling. LTSFTS: Life's Too Sort For This S***!
