All summer long it's been relatively cool - until today! (MB)
Can't imagine how hot it was on the roof. Had coolers filled with iced water bottles and
bags of iced watermelon chunks for the guys. Even the dogs had ice in their water dishes
and dosed in the shade. First pic, yes, more debris! second pic, winding up for the day!
My neighbor has a solar-powered mobile gourmet ice cream truck. He brought ice cold
treats for the guys. (He's a retired contractor and is familiar with summer heat balanced
against getting work while the weather is good.) I appreciate his kindness for my guys!
I spent the days in the garage sorting "repositioning" items out the back door. Three piles were labeled
Reuse-(repacked, labeled, re-stored with like items), Refuse-(refuse to climb the ladder to re-store for
another ?? years of non-use), Re-purpose-(off to recycle or thrift shop-get me off the Hoarders list!)
Thursday was garbage pickup so items weren't going to hang around singing their stay-at-home blues
to me every time I passed by. KB came over after work and helped me vacuum out some of the dirt
so she could park in the garage for the night. We had leftovers spaghetti to eat, I owe her a scrumptious
dinner for being my faithful friend-in-dirt.
